A rug can dramatically change the look and feel of a room and choosing the right one can be difficult - there's so many choices! It depends on what you're trying to achieve - adding colour, pulling together existing furniture or starting over in a blank space - as well as budget, lead times and balancing aesthetics with function. There are so many options and it can be overwhelming.

It is a personal process, which requires understanding what is right for you, so the right expertise and guidance can help you make the right choice the first time.

The Ivy House design team has trained with Armadillo experts in rug sizing, design and placement to offer a personalised service. We'll help you select a beautiful Armadillo rug that's perfect for your space and your lifestyle.

The Ivy House offers a home consultation service for our retail customer for $150 which is redeemable on purchases over $1,500.

This service includes the following:

• after a quick chat or email about what you're looking for and what you'd like to achieve, we arrange a time to suit you to come to your home with a selection of samples.
• we ask for a couple of photos, if possible, to ensure we come well prepared and offer a comprehensive and unique experience. Consultations generally take approx. 1 hour.
• we visit you with a selection of samples and have a discussion about your home. We measure the space and explain suggested rug sizes and recommended designs.
• we follow up with a quote for the various options suggested and can leave samples with you to consider at home. We then work with you to ensure you are totally happy with your selection. 

Distance Consultation

We work with clients across NZ via phone and email using floor plans and photos of the space. We send out samples for you to consider at home. We can provide mocked up designs based on your house plans so you can be confident how the finished space will look and function.
